Free-range whitetail, moose, bear and wolf in Northern Alberta. A handful of hunters a season, each guided one on one. Every tag is spoken for, so the only way in is the cancellation list.

We keep camp small on purpose, and the same hunters keep coming back. When someone can't make their dates, the spot goes to the cancellation list first, in the order people joined.

Canvas, woodsmoke and a long way from the road

Camp is a cluster of canvas wall tents set deep in the bush, lit by lantern and strung lights. You sleep in the timber you hunt, wake up to coffee on, and ride out in the dark by Argo or side by side.

Animals are field dressed and hung for you, and your guide is with you from first light to the last sit. There is no lodge, no crowd and no high fence. Just good country and the people who know it.

Supper is the part nobody forgets

Every meal in camp is made from scratch at home by Jason's wife, Jess, before the season starts, frozen, and hauled in to be heated up on the stove after the evening sit. Real home cooking in the middle of the bush. Ask any hunter who has been to camp and the food comes up before the bucks do.

Northern whitetail

Big-bodied bush bucks in the cold of the northern rut. Long sits in heated blinds, fresh tracks every morning, and deer that have never seen a fence.

Boreal moose

Spot and stalk for bulls settling into winter, with snow on the ground to read sign and the run of big country by tracked side by side.

Spring black bear

Boars on fresh baits deep in the bush, watched daily on trail cameras. Five days in stands and ground blinds with your guide calling the sits.

The cancellation list

Plans change, and when they do, a spot opens. The list is how you get first call on it, for any season including ones already full.

$1,500 USDHolds your place on the list. Non-refundable, but you can transfer it to another hunter.

Deposits open for 2027

Further afield: Africa

Each season we take a small group to Africa to hunt with our partner Dandre Botha of AB Outfitters. Limpopo, the Free State, the Kalahari, Botswana and Mozambique, from plains game to elephant and lion, by rifle or bow.

A $4,000 USD deposit holds your spot and goes toward your hunt total at the end of the safari.
